The Village is a foster care closet serving the 17 counties of Southeastern Idaho and operated by the Idaho Foster & Adoptive Parent Association. We collect essential care and comfort items for newborns up to teenagers and invite CASA workers, social workers, and foster families to bring foster children into our store to choose what they need and want free of charge.
OUR MISSION: Easing trauma, building self-esteem, and showing love to Idaho foster children.

have been served in 2023!
The Village accepts new and nearly new items. We ask that clothing be clean and free of stains or damage. We accept clothing (socks and underwear must be new), shoes, toys, books, baby items, weighted blankets, bicycles, beds (cribs and car seats must be new), gift cards, cash donations, etc.
The Village is operated by the Idaho Foster & Adoptive Parent Association. We are run 100% by volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, you can contact us or just walk in during business hours. We also love to have groups or businesses come in and volunteer their time. Contact us through Facebook or text 208-569-6298.
The Village also keeps independent living kits in stock. These are filled with items a youth will need when moving out on their own for the first time. We accept donations for the items in these kits as well including shower curtains, dishes, towels, twin sheets, pans, linens, etc. If you have a foster youth aging out and moving out on their own, please contact us to pick up a kit for them.
“We can’t tell you how blessed we feel by your heart and willingness to serve these children and foster families and how grateful we are to the community who has come together to lift them up!”
